Ensuring Canadians continue to receive the help they need
October 14, 2020

In August, we introduced the next steps in our plan to ensure no Canadian is left behind in this pandemic. This included a seamless transition to EI along with three new recovery benefits:

The CRSB and the CRCB have been available since October 5th and the CRB became available as of yesterday. Those eligible for the CRB will receive $1,000 ($900 after taxes withheld) for a 2-week period for up to 26 weeks between September 27, 2020, and September 25, 2021.

Following the links above will help guide you through the processes to determine eligibility and acquire the benefits, where applicable.

Please not that the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) has now ended.
